Annie in Austin
Welcome! As "Annie in Austin" I blog about gardening in Austin, TX with occasional looks back at our former gardens in Illinois. My husband Philo & I also make videos - some use garden images as background for my original songs, some capture Austin events & sometimes we share videos of birds in our garden. Come talk about gardens, movies, music, genealogy and Austin at the Transplantable Rose and listen to my original songs on YouTube. For an overview read Three Gardens, Twenty Years. 1. First the tomatoes, and now peppers, too! I am envious. Maybe, just maybe, I might have a zucchini to pick!

  3. Carol, we'd have to have a cage for zucchini - the squirrels will take one bite out of each one. As Henry Mitchell used to say - we have a herd of squirrels here!

Hi Martha, thank you! You young ones would have to hunt at vintage shops for a tablecloth like this, but ours was a bridal shower gift.

  4. The tablecloth certainly makes for a great photo especially with these peppers. Well done Annie, they look great.
