Annie in Austin
Welcome! As "Annie in Austin" I blog about gardening in Austin, TX with occasional looks back at our former gardens in Illinois. My husband Philo & I also make videos - some use garden images as background for my original songs, some capture Austin events & sometimes we share videos of birds in our garden. Come talk about gardens, movies, music, genealogy and Austin at the Transplantable Rose and listen to my original songs on YouTube. For an overview read Three Gardens, Twenty Years. 9. Thanks everyone! We used to have enormous Halloween parties - mostly extended family - back in Illinois and I miss them!

We had about 25-30 kids on Saturday night, from stroller-age to teens. None of them knew who Julia Child was, and not too many of the young parents seemed to know her either, but they still got a kick out of the costume and voice.

Now back to working on the long-in-progress lawn trimmer post!
